Develop ways to support your students through safe, inclusive yet boundaried teaching practices & adjustments where appropriate

This course draws on yoga's ethical guidelines (yamas and niyamas) and how they influence your teaching practice. You will explore the ways these ethical guidelines relate to professional boundaries as a yoga teacher; from the way you promote yourself online to how you teach in class.

Recognising how exclusive yoga can seem, you will reflect on how you can overcome this to teach in a more accessible and inclusive way.

The course will explore how you can offer cues, modifications and alternatives that engage all the students in the room. With an awareness of the power dynamic that naturally arises between student & teacher, you will learn how you can offer hands on adjustments, when appropriate, that empower your students.

This course can be taken on its own or in conjunction with our other short courses, as part of our Yoga Teacher Mentoring bundle. These courses can be completed independently or with additional 1:1 mentoring with Nathalie.
